10 Hardest Video Game Achievements Of 2020 (So Far)

9. Resident Evil 3 - Jill Valentine

Exit the gungeon
Capcom

Released to the dismay of gamers for its short length and gutted content, Resident Evil 3 is an interesting entry. As fans know, many Capcom games, Resident Evil especially, encourage players to continue playing after beating the story. Capcom wants you to get a better time, a better rank and see the unlockable items you can earn.

For achievement hunters, the length of Resident Evil 3 isn’t a problem. It meant the three or more playthroughs you have to run to get every achievement simply added more content for us to devour. Those who only played the game once, however, may be a little burnt.

The achievement Jill Valentine requires players to gain an S rank on Inferno difficulty. As aforementioned, this requires a minimum of three completions of the game. Once on Hardcore, followed by Nightmare, hopefully ending with a final, near-perfect run on Inferno.

By this point you’re familiar with the game. You likely have every collectible and have racked up some store points. You can use these points to buy ability coins and infinite weapons. The big part about Inferno, though, is that there are no autosaves and enemies hit really hard.

This means, regardless of your upgrades, you have five save slots to use in a two hour run. A run that includes a lot of encounters with Nemesis and Hunters that can one-shot you.
