1. Water Cooler - Deltarune
Deltarune, like its predecessor, Undertale, features a plethora of ridiculous fights with even more ridiculous enemies.
However, the game’s most difficult encounter isn’t actually with some whimsical creature but rather the most popular watering hole of corporate office spaces—the watercooler.
The watercooler can be first encountered in the reward room for C-class players in Chapter 3. It looks like an ordinary background prop, but when you walk up to it, the game will warn you that you can sense “a strong aura” emanating from it, and then, out of nowhere, the item will attack you!
At first, you might disregard this as a funny gag, but all it takes is for you to experience the watercooler’s first attack to realize you’re up against Sans-level difficulty!
The cooler’s attacks are relentless, they deal huge amounts of damage, and it has some of the strongest defenses in the game.
After you miraculously survive your first encounter with one, you’ll probably start avoiding them, but if you run away from another watercooler in Chapter 4, it will actually sic an entire army of its clones after you!
