How would you like a 10 hour long RPG that is guaranteed to make you laugh? Well, look no further than West of Loathing.

The side-scrolling stick-man game is a western RPG that features an open-world, wacky characters, and fun combat. And yet, despite all those similarities, West of Loathing is just about the furthest thing you'll ever find from Red Dead Redemption.

The game features turn-based combat that is pretty straightforward, but intentionally so because this isn't a game intended to stump you. That's not to say it's boring though, because the simplistic art-style belies a surprisingly big game with gut-busting jokes and lots of replay value. You'll battle other cowboys, snakes, skeletons, and evil cows as you seek your fame and fortune in the wild west.

To look at this game, you'd probably poo-poo it as just another quirky indie title. However, this stick-man adventure is a blast from start to finish with its genuinely funny dialogue and surprisingly deep battle tactics. Do not judge this book by its cover, because you'll be missing out on one of the most fun and genuinely funniest games available on the Nintendo Switch.
