Loghain Mac Tir is the primary antagonist of Dragon Age: Origins and the man you want to kill for the first half of the game after he betrays your order and abandons his king in battle.

And yet, for all the terrible crimes he committed, the game gives you the option to recruit him!

That’s right! Unknown to most new Origins players, the big bad Loghain can be secretly brought onto your team of adventurers in the second half of the story.

After your character arrives in Denerim and exposes Loghain's conspiracy in front of the city’s nobles, you may charge the man for his crimes by executing him in a duel or by forcing him to drink Darkspawn blood and undergo the Grey Wardens’ initiation ritual, thereby making him an official member of your order.

The second option becomes available only if you side with Loghain’s daughter, Anora, and ignore Allistair’s protests.

Once Loghain is recruited, Allistair will leave your team in disgust, but in exchange, you get to finish the rest of the game with your ex-nemesis by your side.

It’s not quite enemies-to-lovers, but it’s still a fun concept so long as you don’t mind losing Allistair in the process.
