Its less-than-inspiring title notwithstanding, 2019's Snow is a very competent and expansive game with the quite original premise of skiing around a stunning open world.

The player has more than just snow shoes in their arsenal, however, and as well as sliding down mountains like your snotty rich classmate on their bi-annual holiday to the alps, you also get to fly a drone around for some refreshing high-altitude sightseeing.

On its travels, your drone may come across a rocky peak with a small opening leading to a hidden cavern. You can carefully lower the drone down into this cavern, where you'll find many random discarded objects - including a rather sad-looking snowman.

But the most puzzling find by far in this place is a seemingly commonplace QR code pasted across a rock. It looks very much like the real thing, begging the question: are you actually able to scan it with your phone?

Perhaps this code was once intended as a link to a secret developer giveaway or contest. As it stands, we can't ever know for sure. The only thing to do now is try the code out on a QR scanner and see where it takes us...
