8. Reagan Vs. Gorbachev - Grand Theft Auto: Vice City (2002)

The Grand Theft Auto series isn't exactly known for encouraging players to follow the rules. Couple that with guns being so readily available, and all manner of mayhem is bound to ensue. Only makes sense, then, for the developers to take the same approach with the content they hide within these games.

How anyone discovered this in the first place is enough of a mystery, but the image itself is one that certainly gets the cogs in your head turning.

In the Ammu-Nation shop of Downtown Vice City, stand on the front desk and equip the RPG. By hugging the wall and turning at just the right angle, a huge image can be seen featuring the two presidents in office during the Cold War, Mikhail Gorbachev and Ronald Reagan.

If that wasn't shocking enough, Gorbachev's hands seem to be up, and a target over his face shows several bullet holes. The wielder of the gun? Why, the rootin' tootin' US of A, of course.

You wouldn't expect a game like GTA to include something so akin to wartime propaganda. Who knows what the developers were thinking including such a bizarre image. Then again, can we ever hope to understand the minds of the people at Rockstar?
