7. Having Your Friend Luis Turn On You - Resident Evil 4
If theres one thing video games like punishing you for its for not playing as a team, and in a way, theyre right; if you've got someone whos trying to help you out and you keep acting selfish, you probably deserve a good slap to put you in your place, right?
This camaraderie comes into play during a particularly tense set-piece in Resident Evil 4 when youre tasked with holding down a cabin from a horde of ghouls outside - a group of ganados who want nothing more than to see your insides on the pointy end of their pitchforks.
Fortunately youre given help in the form of Luis who aids you throughout the level, handing you much-needed herbs, ammo and grenades. But if you dont appreciate his acts of kindness (in fairness - he is a bit of an arrogant snob) you can always try to kill him when hes not looking.
Unlike other NPCs in the game however, Luis actually reacts if you try to attack him, and after a while hell put one right between your eyes if you even so much as look at him the wrong way.
