10 Hilariously One Sided Video Game Boss Battles

A perfect example of a boss who's preceding stage is much, MUCH harder than the actual battle. Bob The Killer Goldfish is a reoccurring antagonist of the Earthworm Jim video games. Each stage with him in is usually fraught with danger, be it in the form of deadly underwater labs filled with electrifying robots, or tricky woods with tonnes of platforming. However, in each encounter things end in an embarrassing fashion.

In the original game, Jim spies the supposedly killer goldfish glaring at him through his glass dome, and simply walks up and pushes the bowl over! Watching Bob flounder around as Jim hops on his rocket really does kill the tension in a hilarious manner, and things only get better/worse when it comes to the sequel. Here Bob unveils himself in grandiose fashion, depowering his protective barriers, and you even get a message reminiscent of a Mortal Kombat battle.

All of this pomp is immediately undone however when Jim simply scoops Bill out of his bowl and eats him, ending their rematch before it ever began.
