It's literally so horrendously hard that I'd be very surprised if anyone reading this piece had beaten it. Am I wrong? Answers on a postcard. As Sir Arthur, you're kept constantly teetering on the precipice of death and you'll find few power ups in game that'll alter this. And with each passing step, as more and more insane foes appear to put you down, this constant threat of game over only grows. As a result, many players insist Ghosts 'N Goblins is actually impossible; most people don't see past the first level and I'd say those who've seen the ending without cheating along the way could probably be counted on fingers and toes. Games like Ghosts 'N Goblins aren't meant to be beaten, they're meant to beat you.
