4. Stuntman
Oh the horrid frustration this game caused for everyone who touched it. When Stuntman was released in 2002 it was praised for its innovative concept and its fairly high standard of physics but there was one blaring criticism: it's much too f***ing hard! Do you like having to repeat the same mission thirty times before you
just scrape it on the thirty first? Then Stuntman is the game for you. But if, like me, you like to keep your blood pressure below 200, this was one to avoid. There are really two schools of thought: some loved the challenge and coupled with the concept think Stuntman is one of the most unique thrill rides around; others would rather beat themselves around the back with a cat-o-nine-tails for seven hours. I'm in the latter group. Stuntman was surprisingly hardcore and many more casual racer fans entered into the experience unwittingly only to have their un-calloused thumbs tied into fleshy knots by missions that required
nothing less than a perfect run every time. As a result, I'd say probably more people shelved it prematurely or traded it in than actually beat it.
