Okay, time for the wishful thinking entries to round things off. The last word on Half Life 3 came not even a week ago, as Valve-head Gabe Newell confirmed neither if it was in development or not being furthered at all - basically leaving the doors of speculation swinging ajar as normal and prompting some fans to forever think "So... there's something he's hiding?!" just as the others are going "Oh just give it up... but I really wouldn't mind an ending" Basically at this point it feels like Valve are waiting for something truly spectacular to happen industry-wise that would let their career-defining masterwork be received in the best way possible. They need a suitably gargantuan budget for one, but with their VR headset VIVE coming out everyone's going to need a tech demo to wow the masses, and it could, maybe, possible - HOPEFULLY - mean something concrete lands at E3. Plus, VIVE? Converted to numbers that'd be 22+9+22+5? So like 58? And then 8-5 is 3 right?! Half-Life 3 confirmed.
