5. Killer Instinct: Season 3
We all knew it was going to happen sooner or later (given the success of the first two seasons), but who'd have thought it would have been announced so soon after Season 2's conclusion? Microsoft managed to escape the usual onslaught of leaks and rumours leading up to this year's E3, which meant they actually had some surprises up their sleeves when their spectacle-laden conference kicked off. Chief among them was, of course, a third season for Killer Instinct. Set to kick-off in March next year (to compete with the PlayStation 4 exclusive Street Fighter V, no doubt), Killer Instinct fans will hopefully get the same mix of returning and new characters of the past two seasons. You can bet your bottom dollar that Kim Wu and Tusk will make it in at some point. We've already got confirmation of one character, and that's Rash: a guest character from Rare's notoriously difficult Battletoads series. Who else is on their way, though? Expect teasers and announcements to start coming thick and fast once 2016 rolls around.
