Hideo Kojima's mysterious Death Stranding finally saw the light of day at E3 earlier this year confirming, among other things, that the designer's working relationship with actor Norman Reedus was thankfully still intact after the cancellation of Silent Hills.

The trailer was typically cryptic, and very little is known about the actual narrative or gameplay for the new title. Given the heavy involvement from Sony, however, it's generally been believed and accepted that this new game will be exclusive to the PlayStation 4 console. Although, it actually might not be so exclusive.

In a now-deleted Q&A session with Kojima and Andrew House via Sony Computer Entertainment, it was confirmed that an eventual PC release for the game is planned after a period of PS4 exclusivity. This is apparently in relation to Sony not directly investing in Kojima Productions.

Since the session nothing more has been said about a Windows version of the game, but the deletion of the session record suggests that a proper reveal of the news is planned, rather than a passing comment. As we learn more about Death Stranding in 2017, keep an eye out for this confirmation.
