10 Huge Gaming Controversies That Rocked Sony PlayStation

1. Project Morpheus' Pervert Simulator - 'Summer Lesson'

At some point although it's obviously nice to just sit back and watch the ones and zeroes tick over in abundance, a publisher has to take responsibility for everything that comes across their platform. It's something Steam are sorely lacking in, but console-wise Sony and Microsoft have been pretty good at mediating what gets through their doors - especially in the west. Whether this virtual reality headset-controlled 'pervert simulator' makes it out of Japan and onto US or European shores is another matter entirely, but the very fact that Sony saw fit to have the development team (also responsible for Tekken, no less) get up on stage and show it off as an integral part of their re-Tokyo Game Show conference, is worrying at best.
What's the gameplay consist of? Well, developer Katsuhiro Harada mentioned "communication" - which is going to be as interpretable as it needs to be to skirt around many of the questionable aspects and get it on shelves. Of course the potential for up-skirt shots and lingering stares at pre-pubescent girls' chests are plentiful, and every pair of eyes on this so far has come away questioning everything about its existence.
