10 Huge Gaming Controversies That Rocked Sony PlayStation

7. Driveclub Missing Its Free PlayStation Plus Release (Still Ongoing)

Yes, they're still attempting to launch DriveClub on PlayStation Plus, despite many gamers already forgetting the franchise(?) even exists in the first place. Basically the story goes that Sony unveiled the PS4 and tried to enrapture the masses with a bevy of titles covering all genres, but it was the "Where's my Gran Turismo?"-crowd that latched onto Driveclub in a big way - something that when Sony said there'd be a separate 'free' (if you were a paying PS Plus member) version parsed off as a reward to those early investors in the console. Come launch day it was nowhere to be seen, nor did it appear the following week... or month. Evolution Studios mentioned that all their in-house tests had gone off without a hitch; they were absolutely dumbfounded it just didn't seem to work on Sony's main storefront. To this day we've not seen the PS Plus version of DriveClub despite its retail release seven months ago - although the team have recently assured fans they're ardently working on getting the original free offering off the ground. Maybe it'll turn up at E3 and Sony will soften the blow by saying "Now the entire game is available!" but at this stage it's believe-it-when-you-see-it fairytale stuff.
