BioShock Infinite's two-part Burial At Sea DLC is a necessity for anyone in love with this series’ universe. Set prior to Rapture's downfall, this expansion followed alternate versions of Booker and Elizabeth set out on a mission to track down a missing girl named Sally. Alongside being a nostalgic trip back to the place the series started, Burial At Sea acted as connective tissue that linked the events of Infinite and the first game together in the sort of mind-bending fashion expected from a BioShock outing.

There are dozens of revelations about this world scattered throughout this mini campaign. It confirmed that Rapture and Columbia were built using the same technology alongside depicting the events which led to the first game. However, Episode 2 of Burial At Sea also contained a pivotal plot point that reframed the actions of freedom fighter Daisy Fitzroy.

In infinite, it’s implied that Daisy, an empathetic freedom fighter, snapped and was planning to murder an innocent child. However, a conversation observed between her and the Luteces reveals that she never intended to kill the child. Rather, this was to be an intentional act of self-sacrifice designed to turn Elizabeth into a killer.
