10 Impossible Video Game Boss Battles That Totally Broke You
7. Jinpachi (Tekken 5)
Fighting games have a reputation for throwing complete a**hole characters your way at the close of an arcade ladder, and Tekken 5 was no different.
Injecting the hilarious fact that even old man Heihachi had a father buried under the Mishima Dojo (kept alive by the superpower-granting Devil Gene), it was assumed he'd have a mighty powerful presence in-game.
Namco then delivered on the "challenge" of fighting a supernatural Mishima by giving him one of the cheapest movesets in Tekken history. Stun-cancels that could interrupt your combos, fireballs that literally killed in one blast if you weren't blocking - ol' Jinny could even factor these stun-locks into his own combos, effectively letting the A.I. reset a chain and keep you in a never-ending well of punishment.
Once you got your head around dodging and focusing on your own hyper-damaging attacks there was a way to get by, but man if it didn't take hours of smashing your head against a brick wall first.
