The Level: Radec Boss Fight

The final boss fight against Radec is one of the hardest boss battles in the history of gaming, and there is likely a pile of broken controllers somewhere as a result. While he is incredibly hard to take down, there are a few things you can do to ensure victory, though it's not entirely easy with these tweaks.

The Tweak: Taking the high ground.

Throughout the fight, you're going to have to continuously battle against a horde of minions while Radec takes pot-shots at you. While you're downstairs, you want to make sure you're not sticking to cover. Instead, use the statue of Visari to absorb gunfire, moving from side to side, killing Helghast as they make a move on your position.

Rush from this position to take out troopers, and make sure the statue absorbs grenade blasts instead of trying to run back to cover. When the flamethrower guys come out, hit them with a melee attack, as they cannot defend against it.

The sniper rifle is your best friend in this fight, so use it to hit Radec while upstairs. This will make him run away, leaving you plenty of time to mop up his minions. Move to the far left corner of the map, closest to Radec. Destroy a part of the wall to jump onto an exposed ledge. From there, you can take out the rocket launcher guys while shooting at Radec.

At this point, you will need to keep the aggression leveled on Radec, and go through the fight until you finally take him down.
