10 Incredible Bosses In Terrible Video Games
3. Dark Souls II - Looking Glass Knight
Objectively, Dark Souls II is the weakest of the Souls trilogy, let alone FromSoftware's catalogue. Granted it's been patched and reworked, but it's still not the most enjoyable of experiences (and that's saying something for a Dark Souls).
Much like any Soulsborne title, it has a grab bag of bosses. Some are generic, others are gimmicks. Yet there's one that stands out about all the rest, and that's the Looking Glass Knight.
Wearing armour polished to a mirrored shine (he was formerly known as the Mirror Knight), any magic-predominant user is going to have a bad time. That reflection, you see, is more apt than it sounds.
That's not all, as the Knight can conjure up hostile NPC's to take players out, adding multiple elements of danger to the fight. It keeps players on their toes, as any Souls veteran knows, being outflanked is an easy trap to fall into.
Once the moves and tactics are learnt, it can be easier. But for what looks like a generic, run-of-the-mill knight, the Looking Glass Knight really shines on this one.
