10. South Park: Stick of Truth
http://youtu.be/MHbF3FHPvL4 Due Out: April June 2013 I was fortunate enough to be at THQs summer showcase in Dublin this year and I got to see the first ten or so minutes of this licensed South Park RPG in action and let me tell you, it got as many laughs from the audience as you might expect. Often video games are witty, mirth-inducing even, but the Stick of Truth promises to be downright hilarious. And honestly, how often do you find yourself in pleats of belly-laughter at a video game? Written by the creators of the show themselves, Trey Parker and Matt Stone, The Stick of Truth looks, feels, sounds and believe it or not plays like an extended episode of the show; for any fans out there The Stick of Truth will no doubt be an essential companion. Unfortunately, thanks to some public financial troubles at THQ, Stick of Truth (along with a few other titles on THQs roster) has been pushed back from early 2013 to some point after the end of the fiscal year (within the April June window). So fans of the award-winning scatological cartoon will be left wanting for a few more months than first thought. Still, this writer is of the opinion that itll totally be worth the wait.
