6. Timesplitters 2
Because of the classic status and immense nostalgia that the Timesplitters series has amassed since the release of the third and final game, it's hard to revisit the originals without being affected a little bit by those rose-tinted glasses. That's not to say the titles are bad by today's standards, but they're definitely not as flawless as you remember, and sadly the first attempt in the franchise actually plays more like a tech demo than a proper release. With an insubstantial single-player campaign and a multiplayer component that feels more like a test run for later games, the 'Splitters has nothing on its now-classic, fully-fledged sequel.
