9. Albert Wesker (Lost Planet 2)
Who doesn't love Albert Wesker? The comically evil badass that had been causing trouble for the memebrs of STARS since the very first game in the series is still a beloved character for most Resi fans, even if he is apparently done for following the events of Resi 5.
As much as fans wanted to play as Wesker, he was never given his own adventure and was instead limited to making appearances in the various Battle and Mercenaries modes that Capcom enjoy putting into the games these days. It makes sense really, seeing as any game involving Wesker as a protagonist is likely going to have to require the player to be a little evil.
Still, Capcom recognised the character's popularity and even attempted to use it to bolster sales of Lost Planet 2 back in 2009. A Wesker skin was announced for the game, which got more than a few fans excited.
Unfortunately, the code for the skin could only be gained through a promotion run by Gamestop. However, if you look around on the net long enough you should be able to get your hands on the code and experience the joys of playing as Wesker with a mini-gun for yourself.
