10 Incredible Video Game Characters Who Only Appeared In ONE Game

3. Trevor Phillips - Grand Theft Auto V

The only real challenger here to Vaas’ psychotic throne is Trevor Phillips. Though Grand Theft Auto V had three different protagonists, it always felt like Trevor was the main character, stealing the show at every turn.

It’s through this that he manages to just nip in ahead of Ciri to the bronze medal position.

In pretty much every way imaginable, GTA V was a bigger game than any GTA which came before. That goes for character too, and it’s how we ended up with such a brilliantly over the top wackjob like Trevor Phillips.

Rockstar have always been experts at incorporating violence into GTA, but Trevor took it to a new level. While you’d never be able to call him sympathetic, relatable or even likeable, he’s more than just some crazed nutter.

He has a clear narrative, he’s funny and feels like a real person; albeit a deeply disturbed one.

He leads some of the most memorable quests and missions around. While part of that was Rockstar’s level design and bountiful open world, much of it came down to Trevor himself.

A new GTA has been a long time coming, but whoever leads it, they’ll struggle to outshine Trevor.
