Not just no Fallout 4, but not even a teaser trailer or substantial hint that it was in development. We've previously covered a few wishlist features we'd love to see as the almost seven year-long wait makes every fan counterbalance the grandest potential highs with what may be crushingly disappointing lows. There were rumours aplenty throughout the year, and in particular leading up to E3, TGS and Gamescom we saw everything from leaked documents prove at least a casting call had taken place, to one user exploiting the fan-fervour by making up as many lies as he could. Regardless it just proves this is easily Bethesda's most sought-after title short of another Skyrim. And with a huge weight of expectation it's easy to say that even the slightest of an appearance would've made us all feel far better about the future of our machines. Which moments from across the year utterly deflated you or left you disappointed? Let us know in the comments!
