Do you ever have those moments where existentialism takes over, and you're left after the 30th failed-attempt with just you and your rage in a room? That feeling where overcoming this insurmountable feat is simultaneously utterly meaningless, and also your entire reason for living? If you answered yes to either of those questions, then you have experienced the downside of a gamer's life that everyone has at one point in their gaming career: An infuriating boss. Bosses are usually either tests of what a player learned during their time on a level, a way to advance the plot, or just random filler to pad out game time (*cough* sub-bosses and random boss encounters *cough*). Either way, some are good, some are bad, and some are downright ugly. Not Medusa ugly, unless we are talking about the Joker in Arkham Asylum, but just that ugly in the sense that you know the whole fight is going to be a terrible sequence of dying and retrying. Therefore, we have compiled a list of ten such bosses as a sort of salute to those frustrating times that just made us want to do something else like read a book, ride our bike, or throw our system out the window.
