There are plenty of green creatures which generate green mana, making the uncommon creature Karametra’s Acolyte fairly run of the mill. However, when combined with one of the best equipment spells in all of MTG – Umbral Mantle – this card can generate unlimited green mana.

As long as your devotion to green is 4 or higher, as easy feat, especially in mono-green decks, the 3 mana used to untap Acolyte is made up for by the 4+ green mana generated by her tap ability.

This combo is much easier to pull off than some of the others sue to its low mana cost and since it’s only two cards, however it does have the restriction of not producing other colours of mana, similarly to the last entry but without having to dip into white. Still, the huge swings you can do with infinite mana in a green deck can easily be game-winning, especially if you include a Genesis Wave.
