10 Insane Infinite Combos In Magic: The Gathering
3. Grand Architect + Pili-Pala
Similar to the last entry, this infinite mana combo produces any colour of mana, however has the added bonus of being one less mana for the two-piece combo as well as the added versatility gained by having blue rather than green as your base colour, allowing you access to counterspells for any opponents who might try to counter your combo pieces. The final bonus that this combo has over the Selvala one is that it doesn’t need a creature to get it going.
By first making Pili-Pala blue with Architect for one blue mana, you can tap Pili-Pala to gain 2 colourless mana which you can spend to untap it again and gain a mana of any colour. Since you only have to change the colour of Pili-Pala once a turn, you can keep doing this for 1 mana of any colour per cycle.
Furthermore, if you play these cards separately, you only need a minimum of 3 total mana to get this combo going.
