6. Customise Your Weapons At Workbenches
Download Weapon Mods Expanded - WMXDownload Weapon Retexture Project - WRP Weapon customisation has slowly been implemented into the Fallout series. There was a very rudimentary system in Fallout 3, New Vegas built on it by letting you mix and match your weapons mods more, while Fallout 4 will have a full-on weapons workbench feature which pretty much lets you create exactly the kind of arsenal you want. This process was arguably started by the modder antistar, who created the Weapon Mod Kits mod for Fallout 3. Obsidian's improved weapon customisation features in New Vegas were apparently inspired by the features this introduced. Not to be outdone, antistar made Weapon Mods Expanded, which built on the feature even further and went on to win the slightly obscure Guinness World Record for 'Most downloaded Fallout: New Vegas mod'. With it, you can apply up to three mods to any weapon (including unique ones), craft more creative melee weapons, and buy mods off merchants in the game.
