But five years is a long time in video games, and it can't be denied that looking back at New Vegas from the current generation, it looks a tad on the outdated side. In light of what we've seen from Fallout 4, New Vegas looks blurry, blocky, and poorly textured. But you can change all that to make NV gives its successor a run for its money. First, you'll need to download the ENBseries mod, which unlocks all the post-processing tweaks that other modders then take advantage of. The most Fallout 4-esque ENB is Nevada ENB, which overhauls the lighting, shading, bloom, colours and textures of New Vegas, making it look absolutely gorgeous. With these improvements, and little touches like depth-of-field, the game looks unrecognisable from the vanilla New Vegas, and infuses the landscape with a moribund beauty you'd never have thought possible. The Nevada ENB is perfectly complemented by the Wasteland Flora Overhaul, which adds 101 high-res-textured varieties of trees and plants through the wasteland, dotting them around thousands of places. You also get to choose whether you want the amount of vegetation to be more fertile, more dead, or similar to the vanilla New Vegas.
