10 Insane Xbox One Problems Microsoft Should Have Solved By Now

8. Easy Automatic Sign In

It's cool (if a little creepy) that our consoles can now tell who is sat in front them and bring up their profile based on that information. Of course, that feature is only handy if you actually own a Kinect, and it's working as intended. For those of us that weren't interested in the Kinect, the option to automatically sign in to a single account should have been a given. For whatever reason, the option just wasn't available from day one. Thankfully, it's since been included in a July system update, but it seems like Microsoft have done everything possible to hide it away. Rather than the option being in the 'Power & Start-up' section, or 'Sign-in, Security & Passkey', you'll have to go to settings in the Dashboard, then 'Console', then 'Preferences', and the option is at the bottom of the 'System & App' column. If you don't know it's there, it's not exactly intuitively positioned, and Microsoft need to make it clearer for new users.
