When it comes to developing epic games, Ubisoft certainly doesn’t lack for talent. The Assassin’s Creed series alone is proof of that. Recently, the studio has turned its attention to creating a new project called Gods and Monsters for Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, PC and Stadia.
Developed by the same team who made Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Gods and Monsters has inevitably drawn comparisons because of its focus on Greek mythology. The game has also been called a reskinned version of Legend of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild because of its animation and themes.
Despite the comparisons, Gods and Monsters does have the potential to be one of the standout games of 2020. The story focuses on a nameless protagonist journeying across Greece to rescue the Greek gods from monsters like the infamous Typhon.
Players will be able to customise their character and gain access to different abilities like telekinesis to launch objects at their foes, and we can't wait to see more.
