10 Insanely Underrated Wrestling Video Games You Must Play

9. WWF Wrestlefest (1991) - Arcade

Wrestlefest is a classic arcade brawler from the '90s that allows up to four players at the same time, with the main portion of the game focusing on tag teams.

Players had a choice of two modes: Saturday Night's Main Event, in which the player had to pick two wrestlers to form a tag team and take them through a bunch of matches, all for them to win a title from the Legion of Doom.

The Royal Rumble mode is exactly that. A player had to pick one superstar and survive to the end of the Rumble, however, elimination occurred on pinfalls AND submissions, as well as being thrown out of the ring.

It was sure known back then, but these days, classic arcade games seem to live out their lives away from everyone's eyes. That shouldn't be the case. Everyone should experience the pure, arcade entertainment that Wrestlefest brings, at least once.
