10 Intimidating Video Game Bosses With The Strangest Weak Spots
3. King K. Rool - Donkey Kong 64
Nintendo sure are getting a thorough going over on this list but they most certainly deserve it as some of the weirdest boss weaknesses in gaming history came courtesy of the Japanese giants.
Speaking of giants; Donkey Kong 64 is widely hailed as a series peak and the elder of the Kong species enlists the help of several friends and family to take down the evil King K. Rool, who plans to destroy Donkey Kong Island with his Blast-O-Matic.
While many probably can't believe the raucous success a game with this premise actually had, it remains a beloved N64 title and features one of the weirdest boss weaknesses in all gaming history courtesy of King K. Rool himself.
The final boss battles are all frankly bizarre but after you've beaten K. Rool around a little, dropped some lights on his head and watched him slip on a banana peel (obviously), you are then tasked with tickling the evil King's feet to defeat him.
You read that correctly. Tickling a giant Kremling's feet. Nintendo are weird, fact.
