To say it's overkill would be the world's greatest understatement. Even if you aren't playing a melee build, you want to keep this thing on you.

Oh and did we mention that it isn't even a secret? Nope, the Dragon's Tooth Sword is practically gift wrapped for you as part of the game's main quest line.

From that point on you can just sneak around, jumping out of the shadows to slice and dice some of the game's strongest enemies to bits in a single breath. Even on a non-lethal play through, robotic enemies, at least, will never bother you again.
