10 Jaw-Dropping Action Scenes That Defined Their Video Games
7. The Paleto Score - Grand Theft Auto V
While all the robberies in GTA V are fun and memorable in their own right, the Paleto Score is the greatest of them all, if only for the over the top and devilishly entertaining mayhem and destruction it causes.
Unsurprisingly, it doesn’t take long for the robbery to devolve into an extended fire fight in the streets. Fortunately for you, your gang is armored and armed to the teeth with enough fire power to cut through everything in your path. By the end of the whole affair the body count and property damage is astronomical. Eventually even the National Guard gets involved, turning the streets of San Andreas into a war zone.
There’s even a section where you, as Franklin, use a bulldozer as cover for Trevor and Michael while being chased by a tank. It’s absolutely absurd, yet still retains some semblance of grounded reality; like playing a shootout in a Michael Mann flick on steroids. It’s wickedly amusing, allowing you to unleash your inner fury in a way that has always been consistently unique to the GTA series.
