10 Locations Future Assassin's Creed Games Need To Visit
6. Egypt
One of the main reasons an AC game would work when based in Egypt is the pyramids. Assassin's Creed is well-known for it's temple activities, and the pyramids have the long history of mazes and booby traps to allow for some creative gameplay possibilities. Of course, the rich history of the region is also an attraction. Every game up until now has been based after the late 1400s, but if Ubisoft so desired, they could tap into Egyptian history dating back thousands of years in order to reveal what the war was like before the Templars went by that name. The games' established history tells us that the war between the two groups has been going on for thousands of years, dating back to when the First Civilisation mated with humans to form a new species. Putting a Pharoah in an AC game opens up the door for many different historical characters to appear; Cleopatra, King Tut and King Tutankhamun are just a few of the more well-known figures from Egyptian history that would be recognisable by the majority of the players. Egypt is also heavily featured in Jewish and Christian religions, allowing Ubisoft to rewrite even more history like they are known to do with every game.
