10 Marvel Characters Who Deserve Their Own Video Game

7. Guardians Of The Galaxy

While not a single character, a game that gives the player the control of different members of the Guardians of the Galaxy would be really fun. You could even make it an optional co-op experience. While it is true they received a game back in 2017, that was a Telltale game, meaning that its mechanics were limited by the genre that Telltale specialised in.

Give the IP to a new group of developers, and you could have a really fun time on your hands. A sci-fi action adventure where you collect bounties to gain credits to upgrade weapons and characters would be a really cool way to translate the Guardians a video game setting. You could make it a little bit like Mass Effect, having your ship be somewhere where you can rest and converse with team mates.

The developers even have quite a bit of freedom with what roster they want to feature as it changes quite regularly. Star-Lord, Gamora, Venom, Kitty Pryde, Yondu, the list goes on. As long as the game channels the humour and sense of adventure we've seen in the recent films, this game is almost a guaranteed success.

According to a recent rumour, Deus Ex developers Eidos Montreal may be developing a Guardians title, so this one might be coming to us in the near future.
