3. Red Dead Redemption 2 Revealed As 'Red Dead 3'

Speaking of anonymous tips and rumours, WhatCulture received one back in November 2015 from a source close to Rockstar, claiming not only was Red Dead Redemption 2 coming, but that it was getting a bit of a title overhaul, simply becoming 'Red Dead 3'. You can read more over here, but the big takeaway from the title-switch is presumedly to get a handle on never having to conform to tagging on random words beginning with the letter 'r' on the end of each future release.

That's all we were told in the leak, but our source claims it's "definitely" happening, and with Take Two CEO Strauss Zelnick recently talking to MCV and claiming Rockstar will be at E3 "in a big way", you have to imagine it's to rock up, drop a suitably massive announcement and follow it up with a release date within months after.

Rockstar are never ones for E3 bluster and false promises, so here's hoping they're going to play their cards like Bethesda from 2015, holding off on all info until the initial announcement and final release date get shown as one.
