10 Massive E3 2016 Rumours You're Not Supposed To Know

2. The Elder Scrolls VI Gets A Tease

Bethesda
Bethesda

The rumours for this come literally off the back of Bethesda holding yet another conference this year, following the resounding success that was their initial one in 2015. Last year marked the reveal of Fallout 4, and thereby quite the big reason to book a slot on the biggest stage in gaming. However, one year later and they've signed up to do it again - but why?

Big releases on their calendar include Doom 4 and most likely another Wolfenstein after The New Order and The Old Blood's success, but their bread and butter has always been 80% Elder Scrolls, with the remainder being taken up by Fallout.

Skyrim's development reportedly began in full following Fallout 3's release in 2008, which means by this point they've almost definitely got some idea of where TES VI is going to go. Bethesda have said not to expect Elder Scrolls VI in full "a very long time", but that doesn't mean we won't get confirmation it's their next big project.
