10 Mature Film Franchises That Would Make Great LEGO Video Games

7. The Fast And The Furious

The Fast and the Furious film series has been going on even longer than LEGO video games have . But that's for good reason. People love fast cars, heists, explosive car chases, hammy dialogue and happy endings. And let's not forget the superior masculine toughness in the forms of Vin Diesel and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.

Gameplay here would have to be mostly vehicle sections than run-around-on-foot stages, and it could switch up the LEGO formula by making the cars the unlockable element rather than the characters. No need for licensing arrangements either, just go the route of the original Grand Theft Auto and call them names that seem similar. The (Ford) Mustard, a (Nissan) Cloudline, and the (Dodge) Charged.

It would be the perfect blend of modern action and beloved homage to performance cars - just with more LEGO block destruction standing in for the petroleum-fuelled destruction.

After all, no LEGO characters could be harmed during the making of this video game.
