10 Mature Film Franchises That Would Make Great LEGO Video Games

6. Any And All James Bond Films

A tricky one, this. LEGO game mechanics haven't ever excelled at shooting firearms nor stealth - two of Bond's staples - but then high-quality gameplay isn't really what LEGO titles are about. The best movie tie-ins give you a sense you're experiencing the best bits rather than slavishly copying everything, warts and all.

It's not as though the Bond franchise hasn't been experimented with either: From Russia With Love in 2005 on PlayStation 2/Xbox/GameCube took fans back to a time when Sean Connery ruled the roost and threw in elements from later films, as did 2012's 007 Legends for the seventh generation of consoles.

Compilations are arguably what LEGO games do best: with 55 years' worth of films to choose from, the breadth of stages, characters and fight scenes are ready and waiting to be minitaurized into LEGO form.

LEGO 007 could easily become another hit for the franchise, given the (relative) success of LEGO Dimensions and its TV and film crossovers.
