9. Hush

Hush is heavily tipped as a fan favorite candidate to be revealed as the Arkham Knight. We know that he exists in the Arkham universe (hereby shortened to the Arkhamverse) due to the Identity Theft side mission in Arkham City. There we see the former Dr Thomas Elliot removing people's faces under the guise of Bruce Wayne. How? Because he performed plastic surgery on himself so that he literally looked like the billionaire playboy. When Batman confronts him, Hush warns us that he is coming to make Bruce Wayne's life a living hell. In a nutshell, "Tommy" is a former childhood friend of Bruce Wayne with similarly wealthy parents. Except he hated his parents and cut their breaks in order to inherit their fortune. His father was killed, but his mother was saved by the skilled hands of Dr Thomas Wayne. Since then he has made it his mission to destroy the Wayne family. Though Hush certainly has it out for Bruce Wayne, the Arkhamverse version is apparently unaware that Bruce is Batman. In the game he tells Batman to stay out of his way, but seems to have no quarrel with the Dark Knight. This makes it less likely that Hush is the Arkham Knight, who seems intent on destroying the Bat. Also it is doubtful that he would waste his time hiding behind the Knights armor when he already spent months preparing his Bruce Wayne disguise. Make no mistake, Hush is a dead cert to appear in the game, but probably not as it's main antagonist.
