4. He's Seen His Fair Share Of Controversy

It's not surprising that PewDiePie has been involved in his share of controversy; he regularly swears, makes innuendos and throws around a lot of words that might offend people. In his earlier days, he was called out on a number of rape jokes he was making in videos. To his credit, he took it on the chin and said:

I don't make offensive jokes to offend people. I'm only here because I want to have fun and entertain people. I realise now it was a sensitive topic to joke about and I apologise for it.

He also promised to cut out any future references to rape, admitting it was wrong to do so in the first place.
