10 Mistakes Nintendo Got Away With (Because They're Nintendo)

While many probably know about Nintendo's spurring of Sony helped inadvertandly create the Playstation - and by extent titles that would go on to define the console generation like Crash Bandicoot, Tomb Raider and Metal Gear Solid - not many probably know that what they were working on was a disk peripheral for the SNES.

This was to be known as the 'Play Station', before contractual disagreements caused the two companies to part ways and caused Sony to create the 'Playstation'.

While it is kind of sad to think that these two rivals were at one point partners, it is also sad to think of living in a world without Uncharted, Horizon Zero Dawn, or God of War.

Luckily, thanks to the two brands successfully finding identities for themselves and releasing console exclusives distinct enough to co-exist with each other, neither company seems to have suffered any long term effects and both have titles to look forward to to this day, like Breath of the Wild 2 and The Last of Us Part 2, both slated to come out next year in 2020.
