6. So Many Peripherals!
Honestly, this entire list could have been taken up by the accessories they have made for their systems, so let's do our best to keep this short and sweet.
The Wii Zapper, the R.O.B, the 3DS circle pad pro, the Wii Fit balance board, Gameboy Camera, N64 voice recognition unit, the super scope, the Gameboy Advance e-card reader AND the Gamecube modem adapter. Each as useless as the last, and there's still probably a few missing from that list.
Each was marketed as new, more exciting and immersive way to play, but alas, they all pretty much ended up being little more than gimicky pieces of plastic that ended up doing the opposite of their intended purpose, or did so little you might as well have been playing with your standard controller.
Each managed to fail in their own entertaining way, whether it be 3Ds circle pad pro's bulkiness, the Wii Fit Board not actually being a fitness tool, or the Super Scope chugging through batteries. Like many things on this list, each is worth your time to research individually if you ever need a good laugh.
