10 More Video Game Mistakes Left In To Troll You

9. Destiny’s Loot Cave Remembers - Destiny

Destiny Loot Cave
Bungie

Destiny’s loot cave is the stuff of legend at this point but if it happens to be news for you then let me run you through it. Back in 2014 dedicated Destiny players who were determined to be the very best discovered and then exploited a particularly lucrative cave.

Said cave located behind Skywatch in the Cosmodrome on Earth was home to an infinite respawn zone ripe for the farming.

All that was required of players who wanted experience and loot for days was to stand far enough away from the cave so that it would keep churning out bad guys for you to mow down. While Bungie did rectify their mistake in patching out the bug that resulted in the cave itself, they didn’t let players off the hook by pretending the slip up and rampant exploitation didn’t happen. Instead, they put a pile of charred bad guy remains in the cave that, when activated, initiates a prompt that reads out “A million deaths are not enough for Master Rahool.”

You know, because of all the Hive you massacred, Bungie remembers.
