8. The Wandering Sin - Bendy and the Ink Machine

This is another entry chiding you for being somewhere you shouldn’t be. So much so it was created after the game’s launch once the developers discovered gamers had been venturing into inaccessible locations.

Seeing as this is indeed designed to be a punishment and not the devs being in awe of your ability to flout in-game boundaries, the Wandering Sin is not a chill-looking cutout. It’s a horrifying life-size cutout of Bendy featuring ink dripping from his head, unblinking eyes, and a chilling grimace. He also holds a sign that reads “Wandering Is A Terrible Sin” and a very spooky noise plays when you get close. You can spot some of these signs hidden in inaccessible places but using teleporting hacks reveals them in their entirety.

YouTube user skpacman made a hacking video showing his ability to get into areas that were truly intended to be hidden and at first game creator Mike Mood said the team was pretty annoyed about it.

Of course, that annoyance simmered quickly and the game creators implemented mechanics that would shove the player back if they were trying to use hacking exploits. Eventually alongside the Chapter 3 update that mechanic was removed and replaced with the freaky cutout intended to work with and encourage the hackers instead of pushing them back.

If all that sounds pretty interesting to you there’s an extensive video on it on skpacman’s YouTube channel so check that out if you want.
