9. The Order: 1886

The Order: 1886 may have been one of the PS4's most disappointing exclusive titles, but it sure did kick off in enticing fashion, with an opening sequence which seamlessly melded eye-watering cutscenes and gameplay elements.

The game begins deep in its story, with protagonist Sir Galahad being tortured ahead of his planned execution for treason.

Galahad then stages a daring escape attempt from the Westminster Catacombs, and after being cornered makes the bold decision to dive into the River Thames below.

After this, the bulk of The Order: 1886 depicts the events leading up to Galahad's imprisonment, and we only reconvene with Galahad's jump in the final 30 minutes of the game, after which he's fished out of the drink and makes his final stand.
