Another of GTA: San Andreas' wannabe gangsters, players meet OG Loc after he is released from prison. The ensuing chase of Freddy and the insinuations Freddy makes about Loc's sexuality during his time in prison are among the rapper's most satisfying moments in the game. OG Loc is annoying because, despite all of his weaknesses and delusions early in the game, he succeeds and achieves his dream of becoming a successful rap artist. And what does he do to deserve his success? Nothing. Loc is the fortunate recipient of charity from a newly wealthy Big Smoke, who bankrolls the wannabe's deal with a record company. This then becomes the platform he needed to make it big. And even in the face of constant criticism of his inability, he still manages to thrive until CJ mercifully knocks the fool from his pedestal. The most annoying thing about OG Loc is what his character and his success mirrors in real life; the reality TV music star. Loc's success isn't down to hard work and the dedicated honing of a skill or talent, it's because he gets lucky. The parallels that this draws with many of our generation's own stars in real life is enough to make the blood boil, and to secure OG Loc a place on this list.
