10 Most Annoying Multiplayer Weapons In Video Games
7. Farsight XR-20 (Perfect Dark)
Using the Farsight XR-20 in Perfect Dark's single-player mode for the first time may be the game's finest moment. When you discover that this weapon allows you to see - and shoot - your enemies through walls, it is hard to not let out an unrestrained, childish giggle.
However, that same gun's presence in multiplayer is nothing short of a game design tragedy. The Farsight is capable of breaking down the very foundations of the first person shooter by allowing a player to essentially camp the entire map from a perfectly safe spot. As if that wasn't enough, its power level is as strong as many of the game's heaviest weapons.
Oh, and it should also be mentioned that the Farsight's secondary mode allows you to automatically track down enemies across the map, thereby saving its user yet another skill-based burden.
